One of the first original twenty of the CP-8 Series of soldier-assassins that was created by the Chimera Project of Momentum Labs.

Cameron Summers was genetically engineered, and carried to term by a human woman for government portion of Momentum Labs called the Chimera Project located in New York; and as with almost all of the Chimera's soldiers, she has a barcode located on her forearm. She is a CP-8 model and is thus referred to as CP8-656. Cameron Summers is the name that she gave to herself that was part of giving the series their originality; in hopes of making the genetically empowered appear more human.

Cameron knew nothing more than the life she was created to live. The majority of her upbringing was training and learning how to be one of the many perfect soldiers that the government had created. So when she was able to walk, Cameron was already learning how to fight. When she had reached her adolescent years, Cameron was being trained to hone her skills, especially the ones that assisted in heightening her animalistic attributes. Like her brothers and sisters, all Cameron knows was that something big and bad happened twenty years ago, and since they were special, they had been created to help make sure that what had happened would never happen again.

She along with the other CP8’s were raised and trained by Colonel Neil Marek who also had a role in the components of their creation. He trained them to be soldiers using harsh and brutal techniques – a method that most other people would describe as torture. During their training, Cameron was one of the few that were selected to at least one brutal medical experiment involving the re-healing of deliberately shattered limbs.

However, just as Superman becomes weak after exposure to Kryptonite and Batman is only human, Cameron along with her siblings also have an Achilles heel which can leave her virtually helpless; in their case, it is what the scientists of the project call a design flaw: the inability of her brain to create enough serotonin; a condition that leads to uncontrollable seizures and complete powerlessness. In order to suppress the flaw for periods of time, the CP8’s are required to take tryptophan, or by drinking a glass of milk with their meal seeing as how the series has been known to become immune to the shots they had been given.

Although Cameron appears to be an ordinary human, she possesses extraordinary physical strength, able to overpower a man three times her own weight, feline-like reflexes and speed, and with an acute sense of all five her senses, which, along with her training, would make it very hard for someone or something to catch Cameron by surprise.

The whole can leap tall buildings in a single bound? Okay, not true for her, but it is also possible. Like other CP-8’s, Cameron has enhanced night vision, to the point where she can see well in very little light, and telescopic vision, allowing her to selectively zoom in, and view objects from a distance.
